Large porcelain sign for Mauxion Chocolat Products circa 1925.
\nAntique porcelain sign – enamelled sign – advertising wall sign.
\nThis spectacular enamel sign was designed by Wilhelm Defke
\nfor the German company Mauxion which was founded in 1855
\nin Berlin Germany. This is the large version and dates circa 1925.
\nThe sign has a great cobalt blue background with a cute delivery boy wearing the Mauxion outfit, holding 2 baskets with Mauxion chocolat products like cacao, chocolat bars, chocolat milk etc … so great looking advertising for chocolate products. <\/p>\n

This vintage sign has an age of almost 100 years !
\nIt does have traces all around the global edge , but the boy and the baskets are still ok. It’s still a solid sign and does not fold.<\/p>\n

Personal taste:
\nyou leave this sign as it is with charming traces by age – you could frame it – or you have it restored.<\/p>\n
