Sublime 1930’s Convex Art Deco Peach Glass Bevelled Venetian Round Petal Mirror

This mirror is one of three very rare Art Deco Peach Glass mirrors I have recently acquired, in total there is a large petal framed mirror, the petals being peach glass, a convex domed glass petal mirror, again the petals are peach glass, lastly a round mirror which is all peach glass and has Georgian Irish style circles bevelled into the glass. This sale is the mirror mentioned above alone, the other two are listed under my other items

This mirror is a medium size, the main normal glass mirror is convex so it sits proud of the frame, this gives the piece a sunflower type of depth, the back is oak and has the original period chain, each piece of glass is bevelled around the edge which pulls light in to the centre

In terms of the condition, it is free from chips, scratches and cracks, there will be some light patination in the form of some foxing to the backing plate which makes the mirror more desirable as it proves the age

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
