Vintage Design
Sahco Zero The Tired Man beige lounge chair by Lassen. Flemming Lassen designed the Stanco upholstered armchair in 1935 for the Copenhagen cabinetmakers’ guild competition. It features organic bear shapes and caused a sensation then as now with its curved shape and voluminous armrests. Sitting in the chair should, in Flemming Lassen’s words, feel “as warm and safe as a polar bear cub in its mother’s arms in the middle of the ice cap.”
