Vintage Design
Unique and very elegant bar cart designed by Ico Parisi around the mid 1950s with two glass tiers and highlighted by the great wooden structure design and overall shape completed by the brass details of the handle corners and wheels. Created for the Italian furniture firm De Boggis, its official denomination was “Number 58” as it was a common practice for the designer to name his products with just a progressive number. The Art Deco style, that preceded Hollywood Regency and thereafter Mid-Century Modern, is all about making a big statement and was considered very glamorous, elegant, functional, and modern. Softly shaped patterns and smooth angles with the generous use of gold, glass, mirror and a variety of expensive and exotic materials.
