This lovely little child’s armoire in maple by Edison Little Folks has handsome deco style detailing and is highly functional with a bank of four drawers over a wide drawer and a compartment with a pull-out hanger rod.
The decal of the puppy was added by the original owner and we think it greatly increases the charm of this piece.
Edison Little Folks was the company which grew from Thomas Alva Edison’s 1917 purchase of the Wisconsin Cabinet and Panel Company. Edison originally acquired the company to make cabinets for his phonographs, but during the depression expanded the company to manufacture children’s furnishings.
