Danish Desk in Teak with Bookshelf, 1960s

An exquisitely elegant and timeless desk with many fine details and, as usual with the Danes, the desk is of very high quality. The design of the desk means that it can very well stand free-standing in the middle of a room as well as along a wall, depending on space and needs.

The tabletop is slightly curved in shape and the slight bend means that the person sitting at the desk has the sides a little closer to them!

The desk has six drawers, all with longitudinal handles that are softly rounded.
The desk top lies floating on the external H-shaped legs and gives a light and floating feeling on the top. The space in between also provides the opportunity for additional storage on both sides of the desk.

At the back, the furniture is equipped with a bookshelf that is so spacious that it holds plenty of folders and books.
The cockpit is well sized, 56 cm, so even a wing chair can easily fit under the desk.

The table is solid and spacious with softly rounded edges and corners and H-shaped legs. with the connected legs, the desk becomes very stable.
