Chinese Food Storage Box

Vintage Chinese traditional octagonal food box. Segmented into 8 wedge sections around the central octagon. Traditional design and modern use a somewhat delightful jewelry box as was the case at the previous owners’ home. The interior is true Chinese red and the outer is fully covered in Ching scrolling fretwork. The lid with the maiden presenting to the older sages at a table in the landscape. The size is 15.5″ by 3.5″ tall.
