Impressive large hand blown egg-shaped Aquarium sculpture in Murano glass. This unique piece was designed by Barbini for Cenedese in Murano, Italy in the 1960s. This fantastic Murano glass sculpture was made with the “sommerso” technique and depicts an egg-shaped aquarium with a sea anemone in the middle and fishes swimming around. The fine details and the colors of the glass are marvellous. An incredibly charming and unique piece of Murano art glass that could be also used as paperweight. The sculpture is in amazing conditions, with no chips or scratches. An outstanding Murano art glass item, perfect to enhance a showcase or to compement a desk.
