This beautiful Art Deco Silver Plated Ice Bucket by Boulenger originates from France, Circa 1930. Features a faceted handle in burled walnut with a scalloped attachment point and hatchwork. The remainder of the lid has linear hand-hammered detailing and grooved rings circumscribing the lid’s edge. The Body of the piece gradually tapers downwards to a ring of linear hand-hammered detailing, with scroll form machine age handles. An excellent example of design techniques and attention to detail and geometry characteristic of the Art Deco era, this Ice Bucket will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary spaces. Stamped signature on the undersurface denoting the maker. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
