Art Deco outstanding and rare set of 6 Windsor chairs designed by Josef Frank for Haus & Garten and executed by Thonet, circa 1925. (Labeled underneath)
The set consists of 5 green Windsor chairs and 1 brown Windsor chair.
These art deco chairs were made of solid beechwood, while five Windsor chairs are green lacquered and in original condition, the brown one is professionally hand polished.
Josef Frank enjoyed using this type of chair for his interiors. The type of Windsor chair provided his interiors with warmth, cosiness and comfort.
The pillows are replaced and covered with the delightful and colorful textile fabric by Josef Frank
(Svenskt Tenn).
