While the cushions are reupholstered with spring core and covered with high quality textile fabric with kaleidoscope like pattern the chromed tube steel frame shows some signs of age.

Franz Singer ( 1896 – 1954 ) Austrian architect and designer, who studied by Johannes Itten philosophy.
After them he visited the class from Johannes Itten am Bauhaus in Weimar.
He worked together with Friedl Dicker, she also studied am Bauhaus in Weimar, and founded the architecture office Singer & Dicker in Vienna and Workshops Fine Arts in Berlin.
Franz Singer designed the interior for many flats and stores in Vienna, e.g. Modesalon Lore Kriser,
Confiserie Garrido & Jahne, flat Hugo and Alice Moller and many more.
Franz Singer worked as consultant for John Lewis in London 1938. During a visit in London 1938, Austria was connected to Germany, Franz Singer did not return to Vienna and so he could escape from the Holocaust.
