Vintage Design
This chest exudes a delightful mix of age, charm, and character. The oak-lined drawers have no loose joints and slide freely, showing expected marks on the interior. The piece separates into two halves for easier transport.
with pleasing proportions and a charming historic waviness and distortion, this chest is not only functional but also almost a work of art.
Overall maximum dimensions are 108cm in width, 54cm in depth, and 165cm in height (76cm for the bottom section and 91cm for the top).
In good antique condition, the chest bears historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs, and alterations, as is customary with genuine antique furniture. The locks are untested, and there are no keys. Later handles have been added. Historic extinct woodworm holes, typical for 18th-century walnut/oak pieces, have been treated.
