Elegant, stylish and refined tray table with removable, handmade inlayed tray.
The frame is made of bamboo, has been restored and has a beautiful new lacquered gloss. Originally of Asian origin, probably Chinese. The tray table dates from the early 20th century.
The tray has recently been carefully handmade by Kaatje’s Classics and has a wooden base that is inlaid with a wooden mosaic. The whole is framed by hardwood and finished with boat lacquer. Together with the antique frame, it forms a beautiful, luxurious piece of furniture and is therefore unique.
