NAPOLÉON III support height furniture in blackened wood and thuja wood for the light parts.
Its top is in white marble and the door is decorated with brass marquetry with floral vase motifs, draperies and foliage.
It is richly decorated with bronzes: keyholes, palmettes, scraps, fillets and chiseled moldings with ‘Greek’ cuts.
Its interior, in mahogany, is lined with 2 blackened field shelves and it rests on 4 ‘spinning top’ legs.
NAPOLEON III period (around 1860)
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping, removal for cleaning of the bronzes and refitting, satin varnish finish.
