Vintage Design
A charming set of small Austrian Midcentury Modern square sized tables or stools designed and made by Carl Auböck II, Vienna, Austria, circa 1950 in beautiful condition. It´s frame is made from slender steel which has been lacquered in black and it has rubber shoes at the end. The tabletop is constructed entirely from renewed tightly woven wicker. The simplicity of the materials used and their proportions result in a charmingly sweet design that is also very practical. The tables are in very good condition and ready to use in your interior space. Perfect to use as sofa tables or side table in your living space as well as as night stands in your bedroom. The tables would compliment various locations as contemporary spaces or mid century modern areas. The organic touch underlines a clean and sleek line and works perfect with modern shapes like smooth surfaces.
