Vintage Design
Beautiful curved 3 seater sofa designed by Zenon Baczyk for Swarzedz of Poland. Solid stained beech, with curved arms. This sofa was designed by one of the greatest Polish designers of the post-war period – Zenon Bączyk . It was manufactured in the second half of the 1960s by Swarzędz Factory. It’s excellent proportions style refers to Scandinavian design. It has 6 thick new foam cushions which have been newly upholstered in blue woollen fabric. The webbing has also just been replaced. This sofa is now fully fire retardant.

Condition-wise, this chair is in very good vintage condition. There are some signs of wear, commensurate with age – some small scratches and scuffs, nothing major. The wood is in good condition with no breaks or cracks. The upholstery is new. A lovely example of Danish design. We have two matching armchairs at time of listing in case you wanted a set.
