This Art Deco terracotta statue of Christ was reclaimed from the Calvary Baptist Church which was built in 1929 standing at 123 West 57th Street, where Carnegie Hall resides just across the street. The statue is original to when the church was built and stood at the top of the 16-story building. The church was designed by John Rochester Thomas and was scheduled for demolition in 2021. This statue of Christ is in in three parts which form Christ in front of an arch dome holding the bible with the letters Alpha and Omega on the front. Small quantity available at time of posting.
