XIXth Century ebonised Boulle Bonheur Du Jour cabinet.The top has ornate brass mounts, flanked by brass gilded cariatides. Below this the two doors, each profusely inlaid with brass, open to reveal a polished interior with a single shelf. The Bonheur du jour is raised on elegantly shaped legs, with ormolu mounts and further inlay, terminating on brass caps. This piece is in excellent condition. A fine piece of furniture which truly highlights the high quality standards and attention to detail that 19th century craftsmen adhered to. Size:140 x 116 x 58 cm.
