Mid-Century Teak Armchair from Greaves & Thomas Davenport, 1960s

Rare 1960’s Mid Century Greaves & Thomas Davenport Armchair ( Pair available) with original fabric in exceptional condition having regard to age and use . There are no unsightly marks imperfections, damage or evident repairs to note to affect the overall appearance or function. The chair is part of a Lounge Suite comprising a pair of armchairs and a rare 3 seater sofa bed which pulls out to a sofa double bed. The suite has had one owner since the original purchase in the 1960’s and has evidently been treasured and well cared for. Immaculately clean from a smoke free and pet free home. The fabric is in exceptional condition and any appearance of shading in images relates to the brush pile in the velvetine. Solid teak tapering legs which are original and sturdy and solid with no wobbles or damage /repairs to note. The seat pad has a zipped cover and therefore the inner seat foam cushion is easily replaced but not necessary. Original springs to the seat frame which are all in tact and good order worn no breaks or repairs to note W 88 x D 85 x B/H 85 x S/H 43 x S/W 49 tapering to 46 at the back rest.
