A small piece of antique coptic textile woven as a horizontal band with two linear Greek key borders flanking the central designs clustered in smaller abstract medallion forms, in the color of indigo with pink accent, this piece was likely from Northern Africa nowadays Egypt or Ethiopia. Maybe originally a decorative fringes of a larger tunic or garment worn by Christians in the Byzantine time, it has a visual influence of Greek motifs.
